THIELO FOUNDATION UGANDA

Rooted in the belief that every young woman deserves the chance to rise, our mission is to support and empower girls and young women in Uganda, many of whom are teen mothers, through accessible health services, education, resources, and creative opportunities. We work to nurture confidence, independence, and community, one young woman, one story, one future at a time. A core part of our work is providing essential healthcare through our mobile clinics, known as health camps. These clinics bring medical support directly to young women and teen moms in their communities, offering check-ups, medicine, and trusted medical advice from qualified professionals. By meeting them where they are, we remove barriers to care and ensure they receive the support they need to stay healthy, informed, and safe. Beyond health, we create opportunities for learning, skill-building, and creative expression. We help young women discover their potential, build stability, and imagine new possibilities for themselves and their children. By partnering with local communities and listening deeply to the girls and young mothers we serve, we aim to create lasting impact that strengthens families and uplifts entire villages. Our work is guided by compassion, dignity, and the unwavering belief that when young women and teen mothers are supported, empowered, and healthy, entire communities flourish.
